It depends. I know you cringed at that, but it’s true. Each can be its own category, but the magic happens when two of them are put together. Your audience responds far more often to magic than to meh.

The magic happens when storytelling techniques are used in writing content or copywriting projects. There are specific reasons why storytelling isn’t just a current buzzword, but delivers ROI again and again.

Stanford University studied this to figure out how and why the magic happens. They discovered that storytelling combined with statistics boosts retention rates by 65-70 percent! Marketers are also finding that products they sell using stories not only are purchased more often, they can also be sold for significantly more. The stories told hold value for the consumer, and they prove it by opening their wallet.

Stories are most successful when they generate a laugh, a gasp, or maybe even a tear. Your customers care. They become engaged. They see value. And, sometimes, a story resonates so strongly they share it with others, causing some of the most interesting products to go viral.

The best part? You don’t have to learn how to do this. You don’t have to take the technical aspects of a product and figure out how to make it easy for your audience to understand.

All you need to do is give me a call or send me an email to get the ball rolling.

What Do You Specialize In?

Experts say copywriters should specialize in one, or maybe a few, industries. I have, and I haven’t. That’s really good news for you. It’s not every day you can hire a journalist-turned-copywriter who’s written thousands of articles touching every possible market.

One that’s written countless pieces for the healthcare, construction, manufacturing, environmental, and professional services industries as well as local governments. In addition, mention an industry and I can probably tell you about an article I wrote that relates to it.

I am a copywriter with a head for data, a nose for research, a love for learning new things, and the ability to take the complex and make it understandable, all within the storytelling model. Technical or not, it doesn’t matter.

If you’re not interested in storytelling, but prefer copy with a straightforward approach, that is certainly an option as well.
